Herefordshire farm transformed by Anglo Solar panels
As energy prices continue to rise, farmers are feeling the pressure, and a mixed-use farm in Hereford was no exception. To help alleviate this strain, DW Energy Ltd installed a 66 kW system featuring Anglo Solar 550W panels.
The high quality and impact of the installation earned recognition in the Farmers Guide newspaper. The system is projected to save the farm £17,624 annually, with a return on investment estimated in under four years.
A spokesperson for DW Energy remarked, 'It’s a win-win—what farmer wouldn’t want to see their investment pay off so quickly?'
The farm owner also expressed their satisfaction with being partially off-grid, enjoying reduced energy bills by around 60% and freedom from fluctuating energy prices.
